Pittsburgh Penguins (15-8-4-34) at New Jersey Devils (14-8-2-30)

Tonight the Pens travel to the Prudential Center and face a Devils team that has won there last 7 of 8 games. Their only loss came on November 29 at Mellon Arena, the night of Crosby's second career hat trick. Pittsburgh will have to regain that chemstry against New Jersey who will be trying to avenge their sole loss. Tonight's game should be one for the ages.

Penguins

Pittsburgh is trying to bounce back after losing two consecutive games for only the second time this year. We led Buffalo 3-1 at home on Monday, came up empty on two 5 on 3 opportunities, and went on to lose 4-3.

Crosby hasn't scored in four games since his hat trick but has picked up seven assists. He's only four points behind Malkin. There is some good news for Pens fans thanks to a surge in voters at the digital ballot box for the 2009 all star game, the two-headed monster currently sits atop the leader boards with a fairly decent lead. The top three forwards will get starting positions, so get out there and vote!

Devils

New Jersey has been on a hot streak as of lately, winning seven out of eight games and four out of five coming from a road trip. Scott Clemmmensen has filled in nicely for Brodeur and will likely see action tonight. If not, then veteran goalie Kevin Weekes who just as foreboding as Brodeur will be in the cage.

Watch for New Jersey's defensive game to pick up early, as Colin White, with a plus 11 rating and Bryce Salvador use their power and size, and offensive minded Paul Martin and John Oduya provide support from the blue line.
